Daddy’s Hangout 2021 Week 13 NFL Predictions

Week 12 was a step in the right direction as my record was 7-4. My overall mark went to 58-40, which has me closer the 60% winning percentage. The winning percentage went from 58.6 to 59.2%. One of the bigger surprises from a week ago was the Las Vegas Raiders beating the Dallas Cowboys. The Bengals laid claim to being one of the best in the AFC with their rout of Pittsburgh. The Patriots made it six in a row with a blowout win over the Tennessee Titans. The Rams continued their downward spiral by losing their 3^rd in a row by falling to Green Bay. We now have Week 13 upon us and hopefully the upward trend can continue. This week I’ll be predicting a total of six games with the hopes of getting to 60%.

We start things off with the Thursday Night game as usual. The Dallas Cowboys will head to New Orleans to battle the Saints. Dallas enters this game losing three of their last four games. This is kind of a must win seeing how Washington is gaining traction on them. It seemed like Dallas was running away with the division, but now that’s not the case. The Cowboys could be without Ezekiel Elliott also. New Orleans have lost four in a row themselves. Ever since they beat the Buccaneers, this team continues to lose games and players. Taysom Hill could start for the Saints and they’re hoping to have Alvin Kamara back for this one also. Kamara has missed the last three games as he’s dealing with a knee injury. I’m picking the Cowboys either way in this one. Dallas Win 27-17

We have a battle between NFC South rivals in this one. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will travel north to Atlanta to face the Falcons. The Buccaneers can pretty much wrap up the NFC South with a win over Atlanta. Tampa Bay have won their last two games while scoring at least 30 points in each of them. Leonard Fournette and the running game came alive last week in their win over Indianapolis. Will the Bucs finally get Antonio Brown back from an ankle injury? The Falcons are in 4-way tie for the final Wild Card spot heading into this game. Atlanta ended their 2-game losing streak last week by edging the Jacksonville Jaguars. A win over Tampa Bay would be huge for Atlanta, but I’m not seeing this happening. Tampa Bay Win 34-24

We head back to the AFC with a battle between two teams that would be in the playoffs if it started today. The Los Angeles Chargers will head to Cincinnati to face the Bengals. The Chargers are coming off a disappointing loss in Denver to the Broncos. The loss put them a game behind Kansas City for the division lead. They also hold onto the final Wild Card spot as they hold the tiebreaker over the Colts and Raiders. With the Bengals, they are the leaders in the Wild Card race after decimating the Steelers. Cincinnati seems to be hitting their stride and it put them in a race as the top team in the AFC. We have will a battle between two of the better young QBs in the league. I’m taking the Bengals to edge the Chargers. Cincinnati Win 30-27

We have a battle between two storied franchises that’s eyeing the playoffs. The Washington Football team will head to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders. Washington comes into this game on a 3-game winning streak. With the run, they have found themselves in the final Wild Card spot and a game and a half behind Dallas in the division. The winning formula has been an aggressive defense and the offense not turning the ball over. The Raiders may have saved their season with the win over the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. Las Vegas ended a 3-game losing streak in the process and bolted back into playoff contention. Both of these teams could use this win. Will the Raiders have Darren Waller? Either way, I’m picking the Raiders to find a way to win. Las Vegas Win 24-23

This should be one of the hard hitting games of the week between these two AFC North rivals. The Baltimore Ravens will head to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers. Baltimore has won their last two and they sit atop of the AFC with the best record. The Ravens offense has been struggling their last three games. They have managed to score a total of 42 points in three games, but two of them were victories. With Pittsburgh, it seems like they’re in a free fall seeing they haven’t won a game in almost a month. They were embarrassed last week by the Cincinnati Bengals. This feels like a must win for the Steelers because their schedule doesn’t get any easier. This is a tough one, but I’m picking the Steelers to find a way to win. Pittsburgh Win 20-17

We have the Sunday Night game between rivals out of the AFC West. The Denver Broncos will travel to Arrowhead to face the Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos have won three of their last four games. With that streak, they sit a game behind the Chiefs for first place. Denver is also tied with the Chargers and Raiders for the final Wild Card spot. This would be huge win if they beat Kansas City as they see them in the season finale. With Kansas City, they have won four in a row and the defense continues to improve. The Chiefs are coming off their bye week where they hope to get the offense back in sync. Can the offense get in sync and the defense continues their dominance? If so, this will look like a Super Bowl team again. I’m picking the Chiefs to win this one. Kansas City Win 34-17

We have the Monday Night which may be one of the biggest games of the season. The red-hot New England Patriots will travel to Buffalo to face the Bills. New England comes into this game arguably the hottest team in the NFL. They have won six in a row and 7 of their last 8 games. The defense leads the league in points allowed with under 16 a game. Buffalo enters this game a half game out of first in the AFC East. The Bills haven’t been the same team they were a year ago. Josh Allen haven’t lived up to the early season MVP hype many expected him to be. This could be the perfect time for him to get back into form. This is a tough one, but I’m picking the Bills to barely edge the Patriots. Buffalo Win 24-23
