Daddy’s Hangout Week 10 NFL Predictions 2017

Week 10 NFL

Welcome to Week 10 of the NFL season as we edge closer towards the end of the season. After having a successfully couple of weeks, my record was 3-3 this past week. My overall record dipped to 36-29, which dropped my winning percentage from 55.9 to 55.4%. In the NFC, it seems like Philadelphia, New Orleans, L.A. Rams and Minnesota are distancing themselves from everyone with Dallas coming on strong. As far as the AFC, it seems like New England and Pittsburgh are the teams that’s destined to meet in the AFC title game for the chance to go to the Super Bowl. The Kansas City still lead the AFC West by a couple games and Jacksonville & Tennessee are locked in a battle for the AFC South. With hopes of improving my record, I’ll be picking a total of six games this week. Let’s Get Started!!!

Week 10 NFLWeek 10 NFLThis is the Thursday night game and it’s a battle of NFC West rivals. The Seattle Seahawks will travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals in a key match-up in the division. Seattle is a game ahead of the Cardinals and they’re currently a game behind the Rams for the lead. The Seahawks have got to be one of the more inconsistent teams in the league. Two weeks ago, they put up 41 points against the Texans and only 14 this past week facing the Redskins. Arizona is coming off a hard-fought win against the 49ers where Adrian Peterson carried the team. If Arizona is going to win this one, Drew Stanton must step up and open things on offense. Stanton facing this tough Seahawks will not be enough to win this one, so I’m riding with Seattle.

Seattle Win 23-17

Week 10 NFLWeek 10 NFLThis is an intriguing match-up as the New Orleans Saints head north to face the Buffalo Bills. New Orleans is currently riding a 6-game winning streak and their defense has vastly improved. The rookie Alvin Kamara has brought new-found energy to this team as he’s what Darren Sproles used to be for the Saints. In their last three games, the defense is giving up an average of 13 points, which is astonishing. Can this continue in Buffalo? The Buffalo Bills still have admiration’s of making the playoffs for the first time in forever this year. Last week, they stumbled on the road against the Jets in the Thursday night and hope to get back on track. Can the Bills offense rebound from a terrible game and upset the hot New Orleans Saints? I’m going with Buffalo to utilize their big receivers to win this one.

Buffalo Win 31-21

Week 10 NFLWeek 10 NFLThis is a big match-up in the NFC as the Washington Redskins hosts the Minnesota Vikings. It seems like Teddy Bridgewater could see some action after being activated to the roster. With Sam Bradford being put on IR, that means Case Keenum and Bridgewater will try to lead the Vikings back to the playoffs. As of now, Minnesota sit atop of the NFC North with a 2-game cushion. Can the Vikings head to Washington and leave with the win? Washington is coming off a very impressive and hard-fought win in Seattle last week. At 4-4, they still are hoping to slide into one of those Wild Card spot. With three division losses, it’s impossible for them to win the division. Can Kirk Cousins lead them to the win over the tough Vikings team? I’m going with the Redskins to barely edge the Vikings.

Washington Win 23-20

Week 10 NFLWeek 10 NFLWe have the red-hot Dallas Cowboys making that journey to the ATL to face the Falcons. The Cowboys are enjoying a 3-game winning streak and Dak Prescott is putting up MVP numbers in the process. After this game, Dallas will enjoy a three-game home stand. They still have the Ezekiel Elliott court hearings going on, but that haven’t affected his production on the field. Can the Cowboys make it four in a row by beating the Falcons? Atlanta is coming off a tough loss at Carolina as they have now dropped four out of their last five games. With the Saints playing great and their loss to the Panthers, Atlanta need to turn things around. You can call this a must-win for Atlanta and I believe they’ll prevail over Dallas.

Atlanta Win 31-21

Week 10 NFLWeek 10 NFLThis is the Sunday night game as the Denver Broncos host the New England Patriots. Normally, this is one game you’ll have to highlight on the schedule with their recent past. New England is coming off their bye week and riding a 4-game winning streak. During that winning streak, the offense is averaging a shade under 22 points a game. On the other hand, the defense has stepped up big time as they’re giving up under 1 points a game. On the flip side, Denver is in the middle of a 4-game losing streak after they were trampled by Philadelphia with the defense giving up 51 points. Can they rebound this week and will Brock Osweiler play better? I’m going with the Patriots to make it five in a row.

New England Win 27-16

Week 10 NFLWeek 10 NFLThis final game of the week, which is the Monday night game will see Carolina hosting the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are on a 2-game losing streak after getting edged by the Oakland Raiders last week. Jay Cutler had a great game as the offense didn’t drop off after the surprising trade of Jay Ajayi to the Eagles. On the other hand, the defense has given up 67 points in their last two games. Can they slow down Cam and the Panthers offense? Carolina is coming off a tough win at home against their division rival, Atlanta Falcons. They still have hopes of capturing the Saints, whom they have lost to in the division. Will the Panthers get the win at home on Monday? I’m picking them to get by the Dolphins before hitting the road for their next two games.

Carolina Win 27-17
