2022 is almost in the books and we now get ready for the year 2023. Besides being a year older, there wasn’t too much going on this year. Covid is still a minor issue and monkey pox came and went. Having two adult children and one that’s preparing for graduation it’s hard to get into the Christmas spirit. Like years past, throughout the year I’ve had the chance to check out some cool items. As I’ve gotten older, my love for jewelry isn’t what it once was. The only jewelry you will find me wearing is my wearing ring, Apple Watch, and a bracelet. This year I’ve kind of turned back the clock and wanted another necklace with a cross pendant.

My love for bracelets started a couple years ago. The first one was a personalized Philadelphia Eagles bracelet. Unfortunately, my wardrobe isn’t all green, so I need something to go with everything. Trend Him has bracelets that will fit any dad lifestyle.
Jerseys
A new Philadelphia Eagles jersey is always on my Christmas wish list. The Eagles added a lot of players during the offseason so there are many to choose from. Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith and Miles Sanders have already been purchased. The Jalen Hurts jersey is the one that was worn on my trip to Philadelphia earlier this year. Jordan Davis and A.J. Brown are 2 jerseys I’m wanting. The Jordan Davis one is already in my possession, but my A.J. Brown one didn’t come. The site where the jerseys were purchased accidentally sent another Miles Sanders one. A.J. Brown is already ordered and will be here soon.

My barber knows that I’m very much into skincare products. We also support black-owned businesses also. He a brand ambassador for Respected Roots. The beard conditioner was something he let me try before purchasing any of it. For years, my beard wouldn’t get thick and had patches. The beard conditioner improved my beard, so it made me want to try other products. Since the beard conditioner was great, the oil was a must have and it didn’t disappoint. The Body Butter is a great smelling moisturizer and it’s something my wife loves also. The Body Wash was the final product purchased from Respected Roots. The body wash has one of the cleanest and best smelling body washes I’ve ever had. It doesn’t feel like a lot of chemicals is going on your body. As mentioned before, the body wash has one of the best smells you will ever smell in your life.

Buttah by Dorian Renaud is another black-owned skincare business that has received a lot of praise. While scrolling through Instagram, Buttah was popping up a lot. After going back and forth trying to determine if I wanted it my order was placed. The customizable skin kit was my choice, and it comes with vitamin C serum, revitalizing cream, and a gentle cleanser. My skin has always been dry, and I have been searching for a great vitamin C serum for years. Most of the serums made my face feel dryer, but not this one. The revitalizing cream made my skin much better after applying it after the vitamin C serum. The gentle cleanser is put on while taking a shower and it doesn’t feel like chemicals going on your skin.

I’ve been on board with Naked Nutrition for years and tried many flavors. They introduced the Hot Cocoa flavor earlier in the year and this is a perfect time to buy it. With it being wintertime, you can add some healthier hot cocoa to your drinks. Who doesn’t love hot cocoa? How about making a protein shake, but with a hot chocolate kick to it.

Clippers
I’m not making my trips to the barbershop as much as I used to. For years, you would see my getting a haircut one week and a shapeup the next. That would cost too much money and it was getting old. The only thing that was needed was trimming off the excess hair and fixing my line. The T Liners Clippers were exactly what was needed.
